Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
Temporary Anchorage Devices are miniature titanium screws placed in the jaw bone. They are used as anchor points to influence tooth movement during orthodontic treatment.
TADs are used commonly in both adults and children. They help to close missing tooth spaces, help to reduce gummy smiles and in some cases, reduce treatment time and eliminate the need for surgical intervention.
